Last season our talent scouts discovered Paul McLennan, a young man of impressive potential. After signing him to our development squad and focusing on his training, he has recently maxed out. Unfortunately, he was unable to completely max a full 180 training points, but the 178 that he did achieve were quite impressive.
And so we will enter season 62 with high hopes and our first ever Red Rider at avg 55.
Name: Paul McLennan
Nation: Scotland
Team: TallGuysInSpandex
Age: 22 years
Birthday: Day 41
Average Skill: 55
Stats:
CL: Average (62) ** maxed
DH: Small (50) ** maxed
HL: None (36)
SP: Very good (82) ** maxed
FR: Good (75) ** maxed
CB: None (28)
TT: None (43)
TQ: Average (64) ** maxed
The only potential that we did not explore with Paul was his TT: Good, but we felt that his abilities in sprints and all around races would be most beneficial over his career with us. Paul will be sent to TT center after his next race to fully complete his training.
IN OTHER NEWS
Our first ever team Captain, Judge Archer, has announced that at age 40 he will retire from competitive cycling. He has asked to participate in one final race, which will be the team's first race of season 62, Truskolasy - Kawki. Judge will operate as a leadout and domestique for Paul in this final race. The team has come so very far since our initial days, and we are in negotiations for Judge to remain with the team in some capacity for the future.
Additionally, Evan Willis was transfered from Navarone Cycling Team. Evan gives us a strong and experienced sprint leadout to help build our team. We now have several riders capable of being captains on different terrain, but not nearly enough leadouts to keep them all racing at their best, so the acquisition of Evan is a huge help to us.
The team are also considering a rotation of captains in coming seasons in order to take maximal advantage of fitness peaks. Perhaps periodic visits from the Green Fairy can help us advance to higher divisions.

'll give you more points and money this way, probably.
if you wait for him to pick up a race training point in TT and go to 44, he'll have 60 TT after the two sessions, so only increases his average in 2 exactly. But he should eventually reach 58 AV via training points, just make sure he reaches average 56 before TT-centering if that's important for you.
TT training would be more important for a team focused on tours with a stable calendar, but he'

There have been no TT trainings het, and he did manage to receive 178/180 possible training points.
If I understand correctly, then after the two TT trainings he will be at TT: 67, which would be an overall average of 58 (!!)
He was born a TTer with the following ratings and an average of 32.75:
CL: 33 (trained 29) ** maxed
DH: 31 (trained 19) ** maxed
HL: 33 (trained 3, hit overall max)
SP: 33 (trained 49) ** maxed
FR: 31 (trained 44) ** maxed
CB: 28 (-)
TT: 43 (-)
TQ: 30 (trained 34) ** maxed
As it happens, I probably should have trained the TT skills, but my training plan was based on sprinting team. Ther
Impressive sprinter ! He is already 55AV and not half TT centered ?
